It is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman.

Speaking during the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, which took place at Disney's El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles on June 23, he said, "It was 10 years in the making that scene — kind of a dream of mine. The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, "You know what’s gonna sweeten this … a decade from now it’s all gonna come off."
The fourth solo outing for Chris in the MCU, the film will see him team up with Korg (voiced by director Taika Waititi), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman). It will also feature the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Meanwhile, Chris recently revealed that this might be his final Marvel production, “but if presented with an opportunity, I would love to continue portraying it.”
The actor had also spoken about his children's reaction to the film, stating, "My kids watched Thor, their grandma showed the film a lot earlier than I expected them to see it, and one of them was really impressed. The other two were like, 'Yeah, whatever.' And it's all become very normal."
