Filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and actress Nayanthara, who have been dating each other for more than six years, are finally tying the knot! The lovebirds are all set to get hitched tomorrow, (June 9). Their wedding ceremony will be held at a popular resort in Mahabalipuram. Superstars Rajinikanth and Ajith are reportedly among the others who have been invited to the lavish affair.

Just a day ahead of their wedding, the duo's wedding invite has surfaced online. The invitation video which was shared by a Nayanthara fan has left netizens in awe. The virtual invite sees the actress and director's animated versions in traditional attires. Shades of gold, pink and green make it look super elegant.

The text on the invite mentioned the date, time, venue, dress code and other details. "With the blessings of God almighty, our elders, and the universe, we cordially invite you to the wedding ceremony of Nayanthara, daughter of Kurian Kodiyattu and Mrs Omana Kurian, and Vignesh Shivan, son of Mr Sivakolundu, and Mrs Meenakumari. 9th June 2022 Thursday, Sheraton Grand Mahabalipuram," reads the text.

The dress code for the wedding ceremony is ethnic pastels. The couple will exchange wows tomorrow morning and the seated ceremony is 8:00 AM onward. Check out the invite video here:

The wedding will be a grand affair with several Tamil stars and political leaders in attendance. Recently, the couple met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin to invite him to their wedding.

Ahead of their wedding, the security has been really tightened at the venue. As per reports, guests have been given a special code and they will only be allowed to enter after showing it at the entrance.

Today, the couple's Sangeet ceremony will take place.
