KBC 14 host Amitabh Bachchan reveals he attempted civil services exam post college; shares he failed always

Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with season 14. The quiz show has been the favourite of many since a long time. It has a massive fan following and there's no one who doesn't love watching Amitabh Bachchan hosting the show. The show turns out to be even more interesting as the host also keeps adding his life stories.
The megastar always has something interesting to share from his life and in the latest episode, we saw something like this happening. Shruthy Daga was the contestant on the hot seat in the recent episode. He praised her for her fearless behaviour.
She was playing for Rs. 75 lakhs question. The question was - 'Which stupa in Uttar Pradesh is believed to commemorate Gautam Buddha’s first sermon after enlightenment? A. Chaukhandi stupa, B. Sujata stupa, C. Dhamek stupa, D. Dhauli Stupa.'
Shruthy gets stuck here and thinks a lot. However, she decides not to take any risk and just quit the show. She tells the host that she wants to quit. Amitabh Bachchan then asks her to guess the answer. She says it must be A. Chaukhandi stupa. But it was the wrong one and the correct was C. Dhamek stupa. Shruthy takes home Rs. 50 lakh.
Post Shruthy, Sampada Saraf Gurjar is the next contestant. She is a Deputy Collector, posted in Madhya Pradesh. Big B then says that that he has come across many people and contestants, who shared that they attempted civil services exams.
He then adds that these exams are really tough and one gets failed many times. Amitabh Bachchan then makes a revelation about himself. He shares that even he had tried and failed. He said, "Even I tried for civil services exam many times after college. But I couldn’t clear. Fail hote gaye."
Sampada adds that her mother had also made many attempts and guided her about the exams.
