The boycott call by a particular section of viewers for Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has supposedly hugely affected the box-office collection of the movie. The boycott call has also affected the collections of Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan and amid all this, filmmaker and producer Karan Johar is worried about his upcoming film Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’s future at the box-office.

The Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani director wrote while sharing a picture with Ayan Mukerji, “Love is such a strong feeling and emotion… it can be divided and yet felt in abundance… I love you Ayan and feel protective about you as much as i do for my twins…. I know the decade( a whole decade) of work you have put into your film BRAHMASTRA … I have never seen anyone dedicate most of their professional lives to one project the way you have … What tomorrow or rather the 9th of September holds for us we can’t predict at this moment! But your commitment and hard work is already a victory! You just fly! Just soar! Just keep aiming high! Dreams are a reality if you truly believe them and I know you do! Your dream is your labour of love the world will see soon! Love you my child! And oh ya! Happy birthday!!!!!”
Also, on the occasion of Independence Day today, Karan posted a video of his kids Yash and Roohi singing Hum Honge Kaamyaab. He captioned the post, “The future of India rests in very stable hands - no one like the current generation to value, uphold and execute the freedom to the absolute fullest. No one like the current generation to lead the by-gone generations into an India that shines brighter and soars higher than ever. After 75 years of independence, one knows that this is the new India and THEY are the new India…and you have to believe that it’s with them that lies the ultimate power of uniting the nation! To my Yash and Roohi, may you flourish in this new India and may you take this country to newer heights with everything you do and stand for. Hum honge kaamyaab #HappyIndependenceDay.”
Speaking on the professional front, Karan Johar will be next seen directing Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which is set to hit the theatres next year.
