The 2nd T20I between India and Australia will start at 9:30 PM IST. It will be an 8-over game. Since it's a curtailed game, the playing conditions for the fixtures are different. There won't be any drinks break in the fixture.

The 2nd T20I between India and Australia will finally start at 9:30 PM IST. The play was to kick off at 7:00 PM IST but the wet outfield meant that the play couldn't start on time. The groundstaff worked quite hard and made it possible. The umpires have given their go-ahead to the game.

The toss will take place at 9:15 PM IST, 15 minutes before the start of the game. As per the rules, the toss takes place half hour before the start of play.
There will be a 2-over powerplay in this 8-over game. In a 20-over game, there is only one powerplay which is for the first six overs.
A bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs in the 8-over game. The rules regarding this were altered in 2017. The older rules wouldn't have allowed every bowler to bowl a maximum of 2 overs.
There will be no drinks break in the 8-over game. There's a drink break after 10 overs. Apart from that, players often call out substitute players for drinks. But that won't be the case in this contest.
There will be no penalty for slow-over rate. As per the latest rules, the fielding team is penalised and has one lesser fielder outside the circle if it fails to complete overs in the stipulated time. The rule has now been introduced in ODIs as well.
The first innings of the contest will be held from 9:30 PM IST to 10:04 PM. There will be an innings break of 10 minutes. The 2nd innings will kick off at 10:14 and shall be completed by 10:48 PM IST.
