The 2018 Kannada movie K.G.F. Chapter 1 starring Yash in the lead role, proved to be a blockbuster. The movie was loved by the audience and Yash gained pan India recognition for playing the role of Rocky Bhai in the movie. Not only this, the hairstyle and beard donned by the lead actor has now become a rage across the nation.

Rameshwar Sen, who is the owner of one of the salons, has compared the rage of Yash Rocky Bhai hairstyle to that of Amitabh Bachchan’s haircut which became famous in the 70s.
“Rocky Bhai's hairdo is all the rage and it is a hairdo that is trending right now. Customers regularly ask for it, such a craze for the hairstyle is seen after Amitabh Bachchan's haircut which was famous in the 70s and now people are crazy about this hairstyle”, said Rameshwar.
The second part of the movie was released earlier this year on April 14, 2022, and as expected, K.G.F. Chapter 2 set the box office on fire. On its opening day, the film earned Rs 54 crore, and has earned more than Rs 1200 crore at the worldwide box-office.
Meanwhile, other than the protagonist of the movie Yash, KGF Chapter 2 also featured Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
