Singer Kanika Kapoor has found her happily ever after in Gautam Hathiramani. The lovebirds got married in London recently. This is Kanika's second marriage. The singer was previously married to Raj Chandok from 1997-2012. Kanika, who is a doting mom to her three kids, recently shared that she was nervous about how her kids will react to her getting married again.
In an interview, Kanika said, "I would be lying if I said that they didn't feel anxious about it. I remember a few days before the wedding, my youngest daughter said to me, 'Now we are going to give you away.' I was surprised by that reaction and told her that not just me, we all are marrying him because you all are a part of me. Having said that, my kids have been very gracious about this new development in my life. Also, they have known Gautam for a long time, too."
Further, the singer talked about her kids walking her down the aisle and said that it was quite an emotional moment for her when her son walked her to the mandap and when her daughters were beside her while taking the pheras. "I could see it in their eyes that they all were so happy for me. They even danced at the sangeet on my songs," she added.
Not just Kanika's three children, Yuvraj (19), Aayana (17) and Samara (15) but many other celebs including Guru Randhawa, Shekhar Ravjiani, Nysa Devgan and more were a part of the wedding festivities. After getting married in a private ceremony, the newlyweds hosted a lavish wedding reception.
Meanwhile, Kanika, who is very active on social media, has been sharing many amazing photos from her wedding on social media. She has also been penning sweet notes for her husband.
