The trailer of Ektaa R Kapoor’s and Anurag Kashyap’s new-age thriller Dobaaraa can be called just the beginning of the roller coaster ride into its mysterious world. While Taapsee Pannu will be seen in a whole new avatar in the film, the audience will get to see her unfolding a quirky story taking ahead the suspense of the film in two different looks.
Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa is truly a one of its kind 'time travel' story, which the Indian audience is about to encounter on the screen. While Taapsee Pannu will be seen playing a character who is trapped in the world of many unfolded mysteries, the audience will see her juggling around two different worlds. The film will smartly capture the illusions of her presence in the past and the present in different looks without exploring the double-role personality. Where the film will have her struggle of finding the answers to the mysteries around her, it would be exciting to see how she makes both ends meet.
Starring award-winning actress Taapsee Pannu, the film is directed by the acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor's Cult Movies, a new wing under Balaji Telefilms and Sunir Kheterpal and Gaurav Bose (Athena).

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Anurag Kashyap has been approached by Fantasia International Film Festival and other film festivals to exclusively open the festival with Dobaaraa.
Apart from Dobaaraa, Taapsee will soon be seen sharing space with Shah Rukh Khan in Dunki. It was recently reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu have wrapped up Dunki schedule in Budapest.
Taapsee had opened up to Bollywood Hungama saying she was grateful Dunki came her way, stating, "I am so happy and glad that it is this film I am doing with Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan. I will not shy away when the film releases thinking 'Sirf hero ke liye kar li ya or because of Raju sir kar li'. Who wouldn't want to be in an SRK film? I was lucky that I got this one which has such a pivotal part. It is more than whatever you have seen any female actor do in a Raju sir film."
Dobaaraa will open at theatres on August 19.
