Ola Electric car is likely to break cover on this Independence Day.

Ola Electric has previously promised that it is working on a new electric vehicle which will be a four-wheeler to go on sale in India as its second product. And in the latest developments, the company CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has confirmed that Ola will be 'announcing a new product' this August 15, India's 76th Independence Day.
Aggarwal has taken to the micro-blogging site to announce the company's new plans. Aggarwal tweeted, "Super excited to announce a new product this 15th August! Will also share more about our BIG future plans!!"
Needless to say, it is most likely to be either the pre-production concept version of the car that is yet to make an official public debut or the production car itself.
Ola Electric has previously teased the electric car model online, providing a glimpse of its exterior design and profile. The previous posts have indicated that this car will come out to be a four-door sedan with a sloping roofline as seen on the coupes. Moreover, the company has also teased the front fascia of the car sporting LED DRL headlamps and a fairly muscular-looking front bumper with the car dipped in a red hue. Save for these details, nothing else has been made public, including the technical details or the expected price, range or features of the EV.
As far as pricing goes, the company will try to place the product in a relatively affordable range to make it more accessible to a wide range of customers, and stay competitive in the market.
Previously, the company rolled out its S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters the last Independence Day, and is hoping to create a buzz again with its upcoming offering. More details on the model will be known in the next few days.
