The Indian delegation is all set to walk on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival 2022 led by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur. R Madhavan, who will be among the Indian celebs to walk to the Indian Pavilion at the festival, arrived in France and shared a glimpse of his hotel room.
The official Twitter handle of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting posted Madhavan's video capturing the picturesque view of the French Riviera, and stated, "R. The actor, too, while posting the clip wrote on social media, "Madhavan captioned his post, "Cannes Day1- morning of the Main Red Carpet.. View from my room.. 6.30 am. #rocketryatcannes #rocketrythenambieffect"
The actor's upcoming film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect will have its world premiere at the 75th Cannes Film Festival on May 19. The film is a biopic based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation who was falsely accused of espionage. It has been written, produced and directed by R Madhavan, who is also playing the lead role.
Meanwhile, South diva Tamannaah Bhatia, who will also walk the red carpet with the Indian delegation, took the streets of Cannes in a pastel pantsuit. The actress wore a green light-toned pantsuit from a Spanish fast-fashion brand Bershka and opted for a vibrant ribbed corset top with a plunging neckline. She wore statement hoop gold earrings and pulled her hair back in messy waves.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur also arrived in France on Tuesday. He will walk the red carpet with the Indian delegation as India has been given the tag "country of honour" at the Marché du Film - festival de Cannes.
