Vikram Vedha is an action-thriller written & directed by Pushkar-Gayatri. The story of Vikram Vedha is full of twists and turns, as a tough cop Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track and chase a dreaded gangster Vedha (Hrithik Roshan). What unfolds is a cat-and-mouse chase, where Vedha - a master storyteller helps Vikram peel back layers through a series of stories leading to thought-provoking moral ambiguities.
The movie is slated for a release on September 30, and now that it is just a day away, we ought to talk about how do the numbers look like for the film.
Talking to Zoom TV Digital, producer and film business expert Girish Johar said, "I think they were not under-promoting the film but I would have thought that with such a mammoth film with Hrithik and Saif, they should've probably promoted it more. But at the end, they know the film is good, any which way audiences will come but the promotions would've helped."
He added, "Right now, I feel the film is tracking anywhere beyond Rs 15 Cr to start with but had there been more promotions and interactions, and gone all out, the figures would've been closer to Rs 20 Cr but fans are well aware that the film is coming and the most important thing is a good start at the box office."

Given that the movie will also have a clash with Ponniyin Selvan 1, it might divide the audiences in certain zones, if not across the country.
In addition, Johar also feels that a dynamic ticket pricing model (lesser prices on the weekdays) might lure audiences to the theatres, and that, is something supremely important, to get the footfall. With one day to go for release, it is a matter of time that we know how much of a hit is the film at the box office after all!
