Bigg Boss 16 began on October 1. The show has been the most awaited one and it finally began. This year, the theme of the show is quite different. Bigg Boss has decided to play the game and there will not be any rules this season.

Actress and politician Archana Gautam is also a part of the show this year. She has also won many pageants and is now the talk of the town because of her performance in Bigg Boss 16.

In an interview with Zoom TV Digital, Archana Gautam spoke about why she decided to take up Bigg Boss 16. She said, "Mai bahut jyada confused thi ki mai karu ya nahi karu kyunki maine suna hai aisa ki bahut logo ke naam kharab hue hai, unki galat image bani hai. Bahut log the mai naam nai lena chahti par vo aye the usme politicians bhi the aur mujhe logo ne bataya ki Archana tera naam kharab hoga."

(I was very confused whether I should do the show or not as I had heard that many people have come out as wrong personalities. Many people I don’t want to name them but they were also politicians and people told me that my name will be spoilt in the show.)

"Par mujhe apne upar bahut confidence hai ki aisa nahi hoga kyunki mujhe pata hai ki mai real hu mai fake nahi hu. Mai chahti hu ki janta mujhe ussi look mein pasand kare jis look mein vo mujhe dekhti ayi hai. Janta real insaan ko hi like karti hai Fake banne ka koi iraada nai hai. Log kehte hai game khelna hai par ye game thodi hai. Bigg Boss toh normally aap jare ho ghar mein aur fir devrani aur jethani ke bich jhagda hote rehta hai vo hai ye. Hum sab devrani-jethani lad rahi hai apas mein toh ye hai Bigg Boss. Maine itna ye show dekha nai toh mujhe proper tarikese pata nai, "she added.

(But I have a lot of confidence on myself as I know I am real and not fake. I want people to like me the way they did earlier. People want to see real person and I have no intentions to look fake. People say that one needs to play the game but Bigg Boss isn't a game. It's like daughters-in-law fighting with each other. So, we are the two daughters-in-law fighting. I haven't seen the show much so I don't know much.)
