Mahima Chaudhry breaks down as she reveals she had breast cancer, Anupam Kher says, 'You are my HERO' - WATCH

Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry has revealed that she recently underwent breast cancer surgery. In an emotional interaction with veteran actor Anupam Kher, the actress shared that she was diagnosed with cancer during her annual health check-up and was 'terrified' during the treatment.

Mahima, who's all set to make her comeback with Kher's upcoming film, also shared details about the first conversation she had with the latter during her infusion therapy. The actress broke down in tears as she recalled telling Anupam, "Is it okay if I come to the sets with a wig? I have lost my hair, I have just gone through treatment."

She said that Anupam helped him find the courage to do a film without the wig. "I just want to thank you for being okay with it," an emotional Mahima added.

Sharing the video, The Kashmir Files actor penned a note lauding Mahima for being so brave. Calling her his hero, Kher wrote, "Story of @mahimachaudhry1 ‘s courage and Cancer: I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from US to play a very important role in my 525th film #TheSignature. Our conversation turned to her discovering that she has #BreastCancer. What followed is in this candid conversation between us. Her attitude will give hope to so many women all over the world.
