A remarkably clear footage showing an unidentified flying object hanging above a city in broad daylight has left experts and authorities baffled.

The unusual object, which appears to be shaped like a "bulging triangle", was seen lurking over Islamabad for over two hours, according to eye-witnesses.

A 33-year-old extraterrestrial enthusiast named Arslan Warraich said he spent two hours watching the triangular shape hovering above the city.

Making most of the clear airspace, Warriach managed to take high-quality shots of the mysterious object from different angles. He later shared the recording on social media.

"This is the longest recorded UFO sighting by a civilian on record, 13 mins of footage. I saw this when I was landing my drone, it hovered for over 2 hours at this spot when eventually it got dark and I couldn’t see it anymore," Warraich wrote on YouTube.

"I still don't know what it was.“To the naked eye it seemed like a black round rock but as I zoomed in, I could see it was roughly the shape of a triangle with a clear bulge on top towards the back,” said Warriach

“It was solid black and had no sharp edges. It wasn't reflecting too much light and no lights were emanating from it.”I filmed it for over 12 minutes at different times, took dozens of pictures, and observed it for the best part of two hours,” he added.

The unidentified object was seen hanging motionless over Islamabad's DHA 1 district. In the clip, several birds are seen crossing into the shots.

Warraich said he is well experienced with commercial drones and can easily spot one in the sky.

"I actually got birds in the clip while I was filming this thing. I fly drones myself so I know it wasn't a commercial drone either. "And it makes no sense for our military to be flying secret drones over a posh area of Islamabad where most of the army and Government officers live," he said.

Last year, a pilot who flew over the Pacific Ocean in December claimed that he saw an entire fleet of UFOs flying in a 'weird' formation.

He even captured a video that showed rotating lights moving across the sky.

The video opened with a shot of a horizon. But as the camera zoomed in, three sets of illuminated dots were seen moving at a distance. There seemed to be 9-12 lights that moved at a uniform speed. One or two dots at the top seemed to fade out by the end of the clip.

In May 2021, a UFO was spotted flying near a US Navy ship at varying speeds before disappearing into the ocean completely. The footage of the incident was shot at the Combat Information Center (CIC) of the USS Omaha, which is off the coast of San Diego.
