After the Indian Navy invited R Madhavan to visit India’s first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC), the Rocketry: The Nambi Effect actor took to Twitter to express his gratitude and share pictures.

R Madhavan, who is currently basking in the success of his maiden directorial venture Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, received an invitation from the Indian Navy to visit India’s first Indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC), which will soon be commissioned as Vikrant.
After paying a visit to the site and interacting with the officers of the Indian Navy, Madhavan expressed his heartfelt gratitude through a post on social media. He also shared a bunch of pictures from his visit.
Taking to Twitter, the 3 Idiots actor wrote, “My utmost gratitude & Thank you for this very special honor. Such a privilege to be invited by the #indiannavy onto INS VIKRANT- Interacted with the men & Officers of IAC Vikrant -First Indigenously built AircraftCarrier -#Atmanirbhar Bharat @DefencePROkochi & @IndiannavyMedia.”
In one of the pictures shared by Madhavan, he is walking with an Indian Navy officer while the IAC Vikrant can be seen in the background. The superstar looks as dapper as ever in a black suit in the clicks.
A few days back, Mohanlal also dropped by to see IAC Vikrant and penned an elongated note about his meeting with the members of the force.
"Honoured to be onboard India’s 1st Indigenous Aircraft Carrier (IAC), soon to be commissioned as Vikrant, built in Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Kerala. She is a true engineering marvel that further fortifies @indiannavy and showcases India’s shipbuilding capabilities," wrote the Malayalam superstar.
For the unversed, the name of the ship has been derived from India’s first aircraft carrier, the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Vikrant. It played a major role in the 1971 India-Pakistan war.
Meanwhile, speaking about Madhavan, he garnered rave reviews for his performance in the biopic of former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist Nambi Narayanan. Featuring a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is now available to watch on OTT.
