National Testing Agency, NTA is expected to release the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 answer key soon. As per the latest information, NEET 2022 answer key by NTA is likely to be released by August 14. Official answer key would be released on the website neet.nta.nic.in.

Sources close to NTA have shared that the answer key along with question papers and response sheets’ copies would be uploaded on the server and made available soon. Over 18 lakh students have reportedly appeared for the examination this year. The answer sheets or OMR copies are manually scanned to the system and tagged.

Once the answer key is released, the candidates would get about 48 hours to raise objections. Experts have already pointed out at least three questions that need to be corrected in the question papers. Students would have to raise objections and pay the fee, as required. Once the objections are received, NTA would compile the final answer key, basis which the result would be declared. Last year, the final answer key was released soon after. NEET Result 2022 is expected to be announced latest by August 31, 2022 this year.

Please note that the actual date for NEET answer key or NEET UG Result is not known at the instant. As per the Health Ministry, the counselling for the NEET PG as well as NEET UG are likely to begin in the month of September.

Sources close to the ministry have confirmed that the Health Ministry is keen on restoring the academic cycle of the medical colleges. While the academic cycle for all courses have been disrupted due to the pandemic, the medical community has been perhaps the worst hit. This was largely due to delay in postgraduate admissions due to the need of doctors in the field during the second wave.

With the focus on the deadlines of starting the classes on time, sources have shared that NTA is planning to get the result released soon. A soft deadline has been set for August 31. NTA would try and release the results within a week of releasing the answer key.
