Viral video: 'Floating' stone with 'Ram' inscribed on it found in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri, locals say it's from 'Ram Setu'

A video of a stone floating in Isan river in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri has gone viral on social media. The stone had 'Ram' inscribed on it. It was found by village children who had gone fishing in the river on July 30. The weight of the stone is said to be around 5.7 kilograms. The video is from Ahimalpur in Thana Bewar area of the Mainpuri district. Locals believe that the stone is associated with 'Ram Setu', the bridge that was built by Vanar Sena when Lord Ram was heading to Lanka to rescue his wife Sita from Ravan. Some locals want the stone to be installed near a temple for worship. | Credits: Twitter
