Stranger Things is more than meets the eye. It isn't some random supernatural horror show. Over time, the Netflix series has gone on to become a pop cultural phenomenon.
Let's just say that its captivating plot, likeable characters, and homage to iconic 1980s memories aren't all to be smitten with. The series' background score has also piqued interest. The soundtrack transfers you to another reality ruled by the MindFlayer. Netflix, being Netflix, just delivered a lovely surprise for its Indian fans ahead of its release on May 27.
Stranger Things 4 is set to be released on May 27, but reviews have already begun to pour in. Netflix has a surprise for fans ahead of the release in the form of a collaboration with music composer Ilaiyaraaja. In a new music video released by Netflix, the music master performs his personal rendition of the popular Stranger Things opening theme. It is, without a doubt, intriguing.
Netflix India's official Instagram account posted the video with the description,"MAESTRO ILAIYARAAJA'S VERSION OF THE STRANGER THINGS THEME HAS TURNED OUR WORLD UPSIDE DOWN! Stranger Things is coming soon in Tamil and Telugu (sic)."
Stranger Things 4's official summary states, "It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time - and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down."
Bankrolled by Monkey Massacre Productions and 21 Laps Entertainment, the series is created by the Duffer Brothers, who serve as executive producers alongside Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen of 21 Laps Entertainment, Iain Paterson, and Curtis Gwinn.
