According to the police, the thief moved the victim's lawn before stealing the lawnmower from the property. Port Arthur Police Department (PAPD) has now released security footage of the bizarre incident that took place in Texas. The man, identified as Marcus Hubbard, was seen strolling into a residence and picking up the lawnmower from the front garden.

The man, identified as Marcus Hubbard, was seen strolling into a residence and picking up the lawnmower from the front garden. He then proceeded to use the machine in the homeowner's front and backyard, the police department said.

“Marcus Hubbard was seen on Security video burglarizing a residential building, he removed property from within the building without owners’ consent. He then is seen on Security video mowing the homeowner's front and back yard,” Port Arthur Police Department wrote on Facebook alongside the video.
The post added that Hubbard began running while dragging the lawnmower with him when officers arrived at the residence.
In desperation to evade arrest, he abandoned the lawnmower in an alley.
The police department said that Hubbard wanted to check if the machinery he had stolen was working fine or not.
"He abandons the lawnmower in an alley and evades apprehension. Hubbard currently has an outstanding warrant for Burglary of a Building," the department wrote.
PAPD added that Hubbard has an outstanding warrant for Burglary of a Building.
