The finale of Koffee With Karan Season 7 is all set to air this Thursday at midnight. For the special episode, Karan leaves his seat of the host and steps in the shoes of his guests as Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, Kusha Kapila and Niharika NM take over the KWK couch to interview the filmmaker-producer.
Karan, who shares the warmest bond with most members of the film fraternity, was quizzed about being left out of a few celebrity weddings in the recent past. It is to be noted that Karan has often talked about how he hates being not invited to celebrity weddings. And opening up about the peer pressure of missing one of the most-awaited weddings of Bollywood, Karan said that it became embarrassing for him when Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal got married.
"When Vicky and Katrina were getting married, it became very embarrassing for me," said Karan, adding, "It got to a point where people were like you did not tell us about them, you are at the wedding and still not telling us etc!"
The filmmaker-producer further added: "It got very embarrassing to admit that I had not been invited. Then after the wedding came the sympathies and doubts. People were like why weren’t you invited? Is everything ok between you guys?”
Interestingly, Karan felt a little better once he found out that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was also not invited to the wedding. “When I got to know that Anurag Kashyap had also not been invited to Vicky-Kat’s wedding, I did find a little peace,” he said.
Set to stream on Disney+Hotstar, the episode's first promo was launched recently and fans couldn't be more excited.
