Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor expecting first child: Gal Gadot REACTS to Heart of Stone co-star's pregnancy announcement, see inside

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt on Monday shared a special post announcing the news of her pregnancy. The Gangubai Kathiawadi star, who married Ranbir Kapoor in April this year, shared that she is expecting her first child with a picture from an ultrasound session. The duo was seen gushing over the monitor, which Alia covered with a heart emoji. "Our baby ..... Coming soon," read the brief but beautiful caption.

Celebrities such as Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn Preity Zinta, Anushka Sharma and others poured wishes on social media and showered the couple with love. Besides the who's who of the Hindi film industry, Alia's pregnancy post also received a special reaction.

Alia and Gal Gadot are all set to star in Heart of Stone. Recently, Bhatt had flown out to the UK to shoot for the film, which marks her Hollywood debut. It also stars Jamie Dornan.

Earlier this month, she shared a picture of herself and wrote, "Another GREAT day on Heart Of Stone – so so so tired – but so so so happy with all the love for our Brahmastra..makes all the aches and pains go away..love to you all."

On the Bollywood front, Alia is awaiting the release of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. The film marks her first collaboration with husband Ranbir Kapoor. It has been helmed by Ayan Mukerji. The sci-fi thriller is slated to release on September 9, 2022. She also has Darlings, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Jee Le Zara in her kitty.
