Jugjugg Jeeyo day 1 box office report: Varun Dhawan's film mints Rs 9.28 cr, fails to beat Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's opening collection
Jugjugg Jeeyo box office collection day 1: Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani's new family comedy drama has earned Rs 8.50 crore on its opening day. The movie co-starring Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor couldn't beat the first day collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bacchhan Paandey and Samrat Prithviraj.

Jugjugg Jeeyo, which released on Friday (June 24), has started on a positive note at the box office. The family comedy drama starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor has managed to set the cash registers jingling on its opening day. The Raj Mehta directorial has received good reviews from the audience and critics and it is now reflecting in the first day collection.
Jugjugg Jeeyo has earned Rs 9.28 crore crore on Friday, bringing a cheer on the face of multiplex owners. As expected, the film performed well in Delhi-NCR and other metro cities.
Bollywood critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the first day box office collection of Jugjugg Jeeyo. He mentioned that the flick picked up pace in the evening after a lackluster start in morning.

Although Jugjugg Jeeyo raked in big moolah on its opening day, it failed to beat the first day collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The horror comedy starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu had minted Rs 14.11 crore on its day of release.
Films which performed better than Jugjugg Jeeyo
Gangubai Kathiawadi, Samrat Prithviraj and Bachchhan Paandey had earned more moolah than Jugjugg Jeeyo on first day at the box office. While Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi collected Rs 10.50 crore, Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar's Samrat Prithviraj had minted Rs 10.70 crore on the opening day.

Jugjugg Jeeyo also featured Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli in pivotal roles. Prajakta, who is a known YouTuber, made her feature film debut with Jugjugg Jeeyo.
Several Bollywood celebs including Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt have praised the film for its storyline and impeccable performances of the lead artists.
