Money in the Bank 2022 results: Theory won the Men's Ladder match while Liv Morgan won the Women's Ladder Match. Morgan went on to cash in the briefcase on Ronda Rousey after her win over Natalya. Theory, meanwhile, lost his United States Championship against Bobby Lashley.

The Money in the Bank 2022 ended on a shocking note as Theory (formerly known as Austin Theory) went on to climb the ladder to retrieve the briefcase successfully. Theory wasn't even part of the match originally and was added to it right before the official start. He went on to trump other superstars and successfully won a future championship opportunity.

An hour before winning the MITB briefcase, Theory lost his United States Championship to Bobby Lashley via submission. He might not mind losing it as the MITB win puts him in the WWE Championship contention.

Women's Ladder Match

Liv Morgan continued her rise to the top by winning the Women's Ladder Match. She went on to climb the ladder and retrieved the briefcase. More than an hour after winning the championship opportunity, she cashed in the briefcase and defeated Ronda Rousey to become the Smackdown Women's Champion. The win also means that she will now move to the blue brand.

Ronda Rousey vs Natalya

Ronda Rousey retained her Smackdown Women's Championship with a win over Natalya after the latter tapped out. But her celebration didn't last for long as Morgan came out running to cash in her title opportunity. A rematch seems to be on the cards for SummerSlam.

The Usos vs The Street Profits

The Usos successfully defended their Undisputed Tag Team Championships in probably the best match of the night. The crowd was on its feet throughout the match as the four superstars came up with their A-game. The match had a bit of a controversial ending as Montez Ford's shoulder wasn't on the mat when he was being pinned.

The replays confirmed the same after the match. This all but confirms another tile opportunity for the Street Profits soon.
