Jasprit Bumrah marked his return to the sport after a lengthy period of the sidelines with an incredible yorker to dismiss Aaron Finch in the ongoing 2nd T20I between India and Australia at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Nagpur.
Bumrah returned to the playing XI after missing the first game and took Umesh Yadav's place. Bumrah was not in India's Asia Cup squad due to a back injury and spent a long period of time at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru as part of his rehabilitation process.
With India's opening game in the T20 World Cup exactly a month away; all eyes were on Bumrah as India's struggling bowling unit desperately need him at his best if the Rohit Sharma-led team wanted to achieve their dream of lifting the trophy.
On his comeback to international cricket; Bumrah did not take long to add venom to the Indian attack and in his first over of the game bowled a spectacular yorker to dismiss Aaron Finch. The Australian skipper had no response to the unplayable delivery and was completely outfoxed by the delivery which rattled his stumps. Showing appreciation to Bumrah's genius, Finch was spotted applauding Bumrah while walking towards the dressing room after playing an impressive cameo of 31 in just 15 balls.
