'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav': PMC collaborates with Bajaj Group to distribute over 5 lakh flags

Pune: The government is carrying out a number of events in honour of Amrit Mahotsav commemorating India's Independence. The government has urged every citizen to raise the national flag at their homes as part of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign to commemorate this significant anniversary. In our city, the campaign will be put into action from August 13 to August 15, 2022.

On August 12, 2022, at the Pune Municipal Corporation, a ceremony to present 5 lakh national flags to the organisation in honour of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" was held. All HoDs and employees of the Pune Municipal Corporation, Shefali Bajaj, Chairperson of the Bajaj Finserv CSR Steering Committee, Ajay Sathe, Head of Bajaj Finserv CSR and Customer Experience, and other members of the Bajaj Group were present. Ajay Sathe, Head of Bajaj Finserv CSR and Customer Experience, commented on the occasion and said, "This is the 75th year of India's Independence and as proud Indians, we are all excited to be a part of this momentous occasion. Bajaj Group has a strong legacy of being a part of India's freedom struggle and on its evolutionary journey of becoming an Atmanirbhar Bharat. The Group continues to support the next generation of India, through its CSR programmes that are focussed on children and youth."
