Krunal Pandya, wife Pankhuri announce birth of son Kavir; Hardik, KL Rahul, Sara Tendulkar react

Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri announced the birth of their son on Sunday (July 24). The star all-rounder revealed that they have named the baby boy Kavir. The couple got married in 2018. Krunal's brother Hardik alongside the likes of KL Rahul and Sara Tendulkar reacted to his post.

Indian all-rounder Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri announced the birth of their first child on Sunday (July 24). The couple posted a couple of adorable pictures on social media with each other and the newborn baby to celebrate the special occasion.

The couple also revealed that they have named their son 'Kavir.'

,' captioned Krunal his post on both Twitter and Instagram. Krunal's post has already gathered more than 1,00,000 likes on Instagram.

To mark the occasion, Krunal's brother Hardik Pandya congratulated his brother and sister-in-law on the photo-sharing app. The Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper posted a story in which he wrote 'Love you babies' while tagging both Krunal and Pankhuri.

Reacting to Krunal's post on Instagram, numerous members of the Indian cricket fraternity including Hardik's wife Natasa, Krunal's captain at Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) KL Rahul, teammate Mohsin Khan, Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara among many congratulated the couple.

Krunal and Pankhuri got married in December 2017 after dating for more than a year. The couple had once revealed that Krunal had proposed to Pankhuri after his Man of the Match performance for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2017 IPL final.

Krunal was last seen in action on the cricket field in the 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL) where had an impressive season for LSG. The 15th edition of the world's richest cricket league was Krunal's first campaign away from MI and his debut season for the Lucknow-based franchise. Krunal had played a key role in helping Rohit Sharma & Co. win the IPL title on three different occasions.

Currently, Krunal finds himself outside the Indian team in all three formats. His last appearance for the Men in Blue came against Sri Lanka last year. He will feature in the Royal London Club for English County Warwickshire next month.
