This is real: Know the incredible story of Morocco's tree-climbing goats

A few years ago, a video taken in Morocco left netizens baffled because it showed several goats perched on a tree. Soon after the clip went viral, many speculated it was edited to garner views on various platforms. But that's not true. The tree-climbing goats of Morocco are as real as any other attraction in the country. They can be seen along the road from Marrakech to Essaouira. Tourists flock to the area all year long to see the animals climb argan trees to eat their fruit. This has been going on for several years. But in the 2000s, the drought-stricken farmers of the region turned it into a way of earning money. Today, people pay a nominal fee to see Morocco's tree-climbing goats. According to National Geographic, the argan tree the animals climb largely grows in Morocco and western Algeria. They scale the branches to reach out for a fruit that ripens in June.
