Kratika Sengar and Nikitin Dheer were blessed with a baby girl on May 12. The couple announced pregnancy with a cute post in Diwali 2021. Soon, after the birth of their baby girl, the couple took to Instagram to share the news and also revealed the name of the baby.
Kratika and Nikitin have named their baby girl Devika Dheer. She announced her child's name in style on her official Instagram handle. The Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki actress wrote, " We feel blessed to share with you the arrival of our darling daughter!"
However, now new father, Nikitin has revealed how he felt holding the little angel in his hands. In an interview with ETimes, he said that the experience of holding his baby was surreal. He said that when his sisters gave birth to baby boys in 2018 he felt the same and now his daughter his the only girl child in the family. He mentioned that everyone is even more excited and prepared to pamper her.

The Sooryavanshi actor also shared why he and Kratika have named the baby, Devika. Nikitin said, "We had zeroed in on a few names for both a boy and a girl. We wanted an Indian name, not a Greek, Turkish or Italian one. We are desi at heart and like it that way. That’s how we finalised Devika for our daughter. It sounds beautiful and is timeless. There is a lot of grace, dignity and deep meaning attached to the name."
On the work front, Kratika Sengar was last seen in Colors TV's Choti Sarrdaarni. Earlier, she was also a part of Jhansi Ki Rani, Punar Vivah and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki.
