KWK 7: Anil Kapoor shares his take on infidelity after Sanjay Kapoor's wife Maheep's cheating revelation - watch

Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are set to share the couch on filmmaker Karan johar's popular chat show Koffee With Karan Season 7. The promo of the upcoming episode was shared on Monday by KJo and it has only added to the excitement. Anil and Varun, who played father and son in the KJo-backed film JugJugg Jeeyo, are seen having a blast on the show. From giving funny and witty answers during the rapid-fire round to dancing together and more, their camaraderie is once again visible.

What also caught out attention in the promo was Karan's question about infidelity. The Kalank director asked the senior actor and Student Of The Year star about their theory on cheating and they dished out some marriage wisdom.

Anil, whose younger brother Sanjay Kapoor recently made headlines for cheating on his wife some years ago, went on to discuss the secret to a happy marriage. The actor said, "I am very sincere and I am very honest."

For those unversed, Sanjay's wife Maheep Kapoor recently revealed that her husband had cheated on her a few years ago. On Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives 2, Maheep shared, "Initially in my marriage, there was an indiscretion that Sanjay had or whatever. I walked out with Shanaya. I stood up for myself but then, I had a newborn baby. Again, as a woman and as a mother, the first priority is my child. I owed my daughter this amazing father, which he is. I owed it to myself. And if I look back and if I broke this s**t up, I would have regretted it all my life. Because when my kids walk into my home, my husband walks into my home, this is their sanctuary. They need to feel peace. And I feel Sanjay gives that to me also."

She also spoke about forgiving her husband for the same and moving on with life. "I wanted my marriage to work. At any cost. And I did it selfishly for me and for my child. It was not a compromise at all. It was for me," she said.

Meanwhile, Anil's KWK 7 episode will start streaming on Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar.
