New Delhi: When one thinks of a billionaire, stereotypically one can’t help but think about how they managed to accumulate wealth – what they did, what decisions they took, and how the final feat was achieved. But not all billionaires are icons of wealth – some can be fitness and wellness inspiration as well. One such fitpiration is Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath. From pushing his employees to become healthier to becoming a figure of wellness himself, the stockbroker has come a long way and his enviable abs are proof of it.
Recently, when asked by a Twitter user to list his three healthier choices, Kamath responded by listing his go-to choices for wellness.
  1. Disengaging from electronic devices before bedtime: Nithin Kamath admitted to disconnecting all electronic devices and screen time two hours before going to sleep. He said that he disengages with all devices and practices yoga nidra (conscious sleeping) or meditating 10 minutes before going to bed.
  2. Eating proteins: Mr Kamath admitted to setting daily targets for himself and eating ample proteins to feel full for a long. Proteins are an essential macronutrient that induces satiety, builds muscle mass, and curbs calorie intake.
  3. Fasting for 12 hours a day: The Zerodha top boss also said that he fasts for 12 hours a day – this is a part of intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is a diet routine that involves eating and fasting in specific windows during the day to support weight loss, blood sugar, and blood pressure management.
