The awards night became more memorable for Vicky as he bagged his first Filmfare award in the category of Best Actor. He was honoured with the Best Actor (Critics) award for his power-packed performance in Sardar Udam at the 67th edition of the gala event in the presence of prominent film personalities.

Vicky, who is on cloud nine after taking home the Black Lady, penned a heartfelt note to express his gratitude to Shoojit Sircar and the entire team of Sardar Udam. The Uri: The Surgical Strike actor said that he was 'living the dream' as he flaunted his trophy in a video.

Wouldn’t be holding my first Best Actor trophy without the faith and trust of Shoojit Da. The Tiger Zinda Hai actress showered her husband with love as he bagged the Best Actor (Critics) award. She posted heart emojis in the comments section, expressing her happiness over Vicky's grand win.
