In the latest updates from Karnataka, Karnataka High Court pulled up BBMP over the very slow removal of encroachments on the stormwater drains. The Chief Engineer has been directed to ensure a substantial number of encroachments are removed by the next date of hearing. This comes after Bengaluru was flooded for days after heavy rains.
