TV's favourite bahu Simar aka Dipika Kakar is celebrating her birthday today (August 6). The actress is currently enjoying her trip to Dubai with her husband Shoaib Ibrahim. The couple has been updating their fans about their trip on their Instagram. In a recent video shared by one of their friends Abhishek Singh on the Instagram story, Dipika can be seen all smiles as she's cutting the cake.
In the video, Dipika is seen sporting a mint green hoodie as she gets excited while cutting the cake. Shoaib is seen singing Happy Birthday to for her. Scroll down to watch the video.

After dating for some time, Shoaib and Dipika got married. After marrying Shoaib, the Bigg Boss 12 winner embraced Islam. Dipika emphasized that her choice was a personal one and that she was proud of it despite the trolls frequently questioning it. In an interview with Etimes, she revealed, "Joh sach hai woh hai. It's true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, I don't think it needs to be talked about. It is a very personal matter and I don't think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media."
Dipika first gained notoriety with Sasural Simar Ka and last appeared in the prequel of the same show Sasural Simar Ka 2 for a little time. Although she is yet to make her TV comeback, the actress has been sharing snippets from her life on her YouTube vlogs.
Shoaib starred in Ishq Mein Marjawan where he played the role of Abhimanyu. The couple launched their own YouTube channels during the lockdown. Shoaib has returned to TV after a long break in the show Ajooni alongside Ayushi Khurana. He will play a significantly different role than he has in the past.
