Telangana: 3 members of a family of migrant workers found dead

Hyderabad: In Sangareddy district of Telangana three members of a family of migrant workers from Madhya Pradesh were found dead during the early hours of Thursday morning in their house. The deceased also included a two-year-old girl, said the police.

The deceased have been identified as Rekha Kushwa (28), her daughter Sonam Kushwa (2) and her husband’s cousin Basudev Kushwa (27) reported The Indian Express.

Rekha along with her husband Gajendra and their daughter Sonam came to Bhanur village last week whereas Basudev was living in the village in Patancheru for the last three months, said the police. They further said that it is believed that the trio died between 11 pm and 3 am. A case of unnatural death has been registered and probe has been started.

Inspector of BDL Bhanur police station, G Vinayak Reddy said that Rekha and Basudev shared an intimate relationship. Basudev’s wife and father were aware of this relationship and asked him to return to their native village. On Thursday morning, Basudev was suppose to catch a train to his native village. On Wednesday night he came to Gajendra and Rekha’s house and did not leave.

In Bhanur, Basudev was living with another cousin Naresh and his family. Naresh has been living in Bhanur for the last three years. As Basudev did not return, Naresh and others who were to travel with him went to look for him at Rekha’s house. When they arrived at the house, they found that the bedroom was locked from inside. The inspector said, that upon breaking the door they found the three hanging. The police did not find a suicide note. The inspector added that they were illiterates.
