Now, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia will lose memory: Kapil Mishra on Satyendar Jain's memory lost claim

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kapil Sharma on Tuesday took aim at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia over Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain's claimed that he had lost his memory due to the effect of Covid during questioning in an alleged money laundering case.
Taking to Twitter, Mishra said, after Jain, now Kejriwal and Sisodia will have memory loss.
Tweeting in Hindi, the BJP leader also questioned how can Jain continue as a minister when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader doesn`t remember as his memory has been affected post-Covid-19.
Mishra's reaction comes after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) reportedly told the court that the Delhi health minister claimed that he had lost his memory due to the effect of coronavirus while he was being questioned by its officials.
Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case.
A court on June 9 extended by four days the ED custody of Satyendar Jain in the money laundering case. Special Judge Geetanjli Goel extended his custody till June 13.
During the ED raids at several locations belonging to Jain and his associates and relatives, the officails recovered cash worth Rs 2.85 crore and 133 gold coins weighing 1.80 kg during the raids.
The CBI had registered a case against Jain, his wife, Ajit Prasad Jain, Sunil Kumar Jain, Vaibhav Jain and Ankush Jain. On the basis on CBI's complant, the ED registered a case against him under criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
A picture of the Delhi minister with a harried and weary look went viral on social media last week. The AAP leaders and its supporters strongly reacted to the alleged picture of Jain.
Delhi CM Kejriwal on June 10 said that Jain was taken to a hospital. He, however, refused to divulge any further details.
"He is in ED custody and I cannot say much since we have no direct contact. I am in no position to make any comment on this. He was taken to hospital yesterday. Whatever happened in the hospital... when he was a little better, he was taken back," the Delhi CM said.
