The Bollywood superstar, who is known as the 'King of romance', will be seen in a different role in the much-awaited flick. While we are eagerly waiting for more updates related to the film, director Atlee has shared a new photo with SRK and Vijay Thalapathy, sending the internet into a tizzy.

On Thursday (September 22), Atlee posted a snap with the two talented actors on his official Twitter along with a sweet note. The trio can be seen flashing their million-dollar smiles while striking a pose for the camera. Interestingly, the three celebs donned black outfits while meeting each other.

The Bigil director, who celebrated his 36th birthday on Wednesday (September 21), called Shah Rukh and Vijay his 'pillars' while sharing the post. He said that he had the 'best birthday ever' with the duo. "What more can I ask on my bday , the best bday ever wit my pillars. My dear @iamsrk sir & ennoda annae ennoda thalapathy @actorvijay," Atlee wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Fans couldn't control their excitement after seeing the photo. They wondered if Vijay would be a part of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan as they were seen wearing black outfits. One Twitter user wrote, "Legends in one frame."

Jawan release date
Jawan, which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati, is slated to hit the silver screens on June 2, 2023. It will release across multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
Atlee, who is directing the highly-anticipated movie, had announced it in June 2022 by sharing a post on social media. "Feeling emotional, excited & blessed. Grew up admiring you but never imagined that I would be directing you sir," he wrote while expressing his excitement on working with King Khan.
SRK's upcoming films
On the work front, the Chennai Express star will be next seen in Pathaan, which marks his return to Hindi cinema after four years. He will share screen space with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in the action drama.
Shah Rukh also has Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki in his kitty.
