Lucknow: A man buried himself six feet deep under the ground after being told by priests that he would achieve enlightenment if he took a 'samadhi'. He was rescued by cops in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district on Tuesday.
Three priests from Tajpur village in the district convinced the man to take samadhi underground in a bid to make money from religious offerings during the festival of Navratri.
