Glucose is the body’s main source of energy and it is required by the body to perform all its functions. However, when the level of blood glucose increases, it might lead to several other health problems.

The blood sugar range varies for different people and it is recommended that you ask your doctor about your desired range. Supposedly, if you are non-diabetic, then your range of blood glucose levels will be different as compared to an individual who is diabetic. However, for a healthy individual, during fasting hours, the blood sugar level should be below 95 mg/dl. On the other hand, your blood sugar level should be somewhere around 140 mg/dl after 2 hours of your meal. Now, this range varies depending upon several other factors such as age or if you are diabetic or non-diabetic and other factors.
