Earlier today Farhan took to his Instagram stories to announce the news with the lengthy post citing the reason. For the unversed, the Bollywood actor-singer was slated to perform in Dubai on June 25 as part of his Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara tour.

Filmmaker, actor and singer Farhan Akhtar has announced that his FarhanLive Dubai concert has been cancelled. Earlier today Farhan took to his Instagram stories to announce the news with the lengthy post citing the reason.
For the unversed, the Bollywood actor-singer was slated to perform in Dubai on June 25 as part of his Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara tour. He was supposed to perform live at The Agenda, Dubai Media City, bringing his biggest hits to life on stage — think tracks from films such as Rock On!!, Rock On 2, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and more.
Taking to his Instagram stories, he wrote, "I am extremely disheartened to tell you that the FarhanLive Dubai concert scheduled for 25th June, has been cancelled due to the promoter @bkrevents reneging on multiple obligations."

He “further went on to add, "I share the disappointment felt by my fans who bought tickets to the event. Please know it is as upsetting for me to not be entertaining you tomorrow evening. Unfortunately, this is not in our control and I request that all those in possession of tickets (bought on @playtinumlistuae) be immediately refunded. Looking forward to playing for you soon. With love and a heavy heart... Farhan.”
The event was supposed to also feature the Dubai-based Pakistani band Boys Unplugged as the opening act, followed by DJ sets by Krispie, Tushar and Chetas. Akhtar was expected to take to the stage at 9.30pm in a 90-minute set, as per a report by Gulf News.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Farhan Akhtar's comeback as a director after almost 10 years with Jee Le Zaraa has been postponed for the time being. The film, starring,Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt was supposed to go on floors this year in the month of September, However, Farhan Akhtar and his team have decided to put Jee Le Zaraa on hold for the time being.
