To mark the special occasion of 75th Independence Day, this year, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested all the citizens to celebrate Azadi Ka Mahotsav where he asked everyone to hoist India's national flag at their homes and join the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
After many Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, and Aamir Khan posted stories of them hoisting the tri-colour, our all-time favourite king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan proudly joined the campaign and sent his heartwarming wishes to the world.
On Sunday (August 14), the Badshah of Bollywood took to Instagram and shared a video of him hoisting the flag along with his family members, including his wife Gauri Khan and both the sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, as Vande Matram plays in the background.
Along with the video, the Dear Zindagi actor penned down, “Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly.”
In the video, we can see their little munchkin AbRam helping his father in hoisting the national flag at Mannat in Mumbai, while on the other hand, Aryan and Gauri can be seen looking at them proudly as the Indian flag waved high in the wind.
A while ago, Gauri also shared a picture with his family in front of the flag pole. In the picture, King Khan held on to AbRam’s hand while Aryan stood beside Gauri. On the special occasion, the family donned white outfits - the boys wore white t-shirts with denim pants, while Gauri wore a white blazer with denim jeans and white sneakers.
Meanwhile, talking about Shah Rukh's work front, the actor is coming back on screen after four years with back-to-back exciting projects, including Dunki, Jawan, and Pathaan.
