At the opening ceremony for the India Mobile Congress, which begins today and ends on October 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the introduction of 5G cellular services. The goal of 5G telecom services is to deliver extremely fast mobile internet. Three significant Indian telecom oligopolies, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, and Vodafone Idea, also attended the 5G launch event. The three telecom companies each presented a use case to illustrate the possibilities of 5G technology in the months to come.
The cumulative economic impact of 5G services on India is anticipated to reach $450 billion (approximately Rs. 36,61,200 crore) over the course of the next 13 years, as was previously reported. The promised benefits of 5G services include lag-free connectivity and speeds a thousand times quicker than those of existing 4G services.
High data rates with low latency, seamless coverage, and lag-free communications are some other advantages of 5G services.
On the occasion of the launch of 5G, Madhav Sheth, CEO of realme India, VP, realme and President, realme International Business Group says,
“realme has always been committed to providing the latest technologies to its users and 5G is one of the recent most exciting developments in our industry. As the first brand to launch a 5G enabled phone, we believe that 5G has the potential to bring together the entire ecosystem, which is why realme has dedicated 90% of its research and development efforts to 5G technologies and devices. With 5G being officially available now, we are looking forward to exploring the numerous opportunities it provides to us and will be directing our efforts into making this technology even more accessible to users.
