One user wrote, “It's been 5 years... not a single Telugu film surprised me, entertained me as Arjun Reddy did! And not very often do we get to see Telugu films where one could appreciate Film form, and for that, it will always be on my list of all-time favourite Telugu films ever! #ArjunReddy”.

Another user wrote, “Bad first half. Heroine scenes are cringe max, puri’s paithyam reached peaks with added Bollywood flavor. Looks like VD doesn’t want to come out of Arjun reddy hangover anytime soon. Music is a big minus. Don’t even think about the story / screenplay.”
