On Thursday, Droupadi Murmu was called at her home by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who welcomed her and expressed his greetings on her victory as the nation's next President. JP Nadda, the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, attended the meeting as well. At the conclusion of the third round of tallying in the Presidential election, Murmu has already received 50% of the total amount of valid votes. She will be the 15th President of India.
