Rohit Sharma has achieved a huge milestone and now has most sixes in T20Is. The India captain was in full flow in the 2nd T20I against Australia and remained unbeaten on 46 off 20. He hit 4 sixes during the chase and propelled India to a win in the 8-over game.

Captain Rohit Sharma led from the front and played a captain's knock as India chased down the target of 91 in the 8-over contest against Australia in Nagpur. At one stage, the wet outfield threatened to abandon the game. But courtesy of the groundstaff's effort, the play was possible and the two teams played an entertaining 8-over contest.
While there were some crucial spells by spinners, it was Rohit's knock that was the highlight of the match. The opening batsman remained unbeaten on 46 off just 20 balls and trumped Matthew Wade's heroics, who scored an unbeaten 43 off 20.
Rohit was in full flow and batted with a strike-rate of 230.00. He hit 4 sixes and as many boundaries during his knock. With his first big hit of the evening right in the first over of the chase, Rohit achieved a huge milestone and now owns the record of hitting most sixes in T20Is.
With 176 big hits, the senior batsman sits at the top spot on the list of batsmen with the most sixes in T20Is. He is followed by Martin Guptill, who has 172 sixes. Chris Gayle acquires the 3rd spot with 124 sixes and is followed by Eoin Morgan, who retired with 120 sixes.
Virat Kohli, who sits at the 9th spot, is the only other Indian batsman in the top 10 list. He has 104 sixes in T20Is.
Rohit already acquires the top spot on the list of batsmen with most T20I runs and has now etched his name in another record book. The India captain has 3677 runs in 138 T20Is. He is followed by Kohli, who has 3587 runs. Guptill (3497), Paul Stirling (3011) and Aaron Finch (2908) sit next to the former India skipper.
Meanwhile, the 3rd T20I of the India-Australia series will be played in Hyderabad on September 25. The series is levelled 1-1.
