Udaipur tailor murder: 'This is the emergence of Talibani culture,' says Kailash Vijayvargiya; claims Congress 'giving protection to it'

"Taliban forces also came in Jammu and Kashmir because of Congress. The Taliban culture coming in Bengal is also happening due to the appeasement of Congress and TMC. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot himself has said that there is an international link in the Udaipur murder case. Now, the National Investigation Agency is probing the matter," said BJP national secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya.

Indore: Amid the controversy over the 'beheading' of a tailor by two men in Rajasthan's Udaipur, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday stated that the Congress' appeasement tactics are bringing "Talibani culture" in the country.
He told news agency ANI that the incident was "very shocking".
"It was done to spread terror. The video of the incident is very disturbing. This is the emergence of Talibani culture and Congress is giving protection to it. This is happening because of Congress' appeasement politics," said Vijayvargiya.
He added: "Taliban forces also came in Jammu and Kashmir because of Congress. The Taliban culture coming in Bengal is also happening due to the appeasement of Congress and TMC. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot himself has said that there is an international link in the Udaipur murder case. Now, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is probing the matter."
On Tuesday, Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded by two men in Udaipur for allegedly posting content supporting suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma. Video footage identified the attackers as Riyaz Akhtari and Ghouse Mohammad.
This incident has caused public outrage across the country.
After committing the crime, the two accused uploaded a video on social media boasting about the "beheading" and threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both the accused were arrested within hours of the crime.
The cremation of Kanhaiya Lal took place on Wednesday in Udaipur in the presence of hundreds of people, who called for capital punishment for the accused. There was heavy police security during the cremation.
Officials said on Wednesday that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken over the investigation into the brutal killing of Kanhaiya Lal.
A senior NIA official told ANI on condition of anonymity that the anti-terror agency has filed a First Information Report (FIR) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, in addition to various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
It is also worth noting that Kanhaiya had filed a police complaint regarding receiving threats a few days ago. Apparently, the victim had shared a post on social media supporting Nupur Sharma, a former BJP spokesperson who was suspended from the party for her remarks on Prophet Muhammad.
