When Zayed Khan agreed nepotism exists in Bollywood; says, ‘It is merely human nature’

The word ‘nepotism’ can be heard every now and then in the Hindi film industry. This topic has made several headlines in the past few years and after late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, it gained momentum. Today, in almost all the interviews, nepotism is mentioned and many celebrities have expressed their views on the same.

During an earlier interview with a publication, the Main Hoon Na actor said that nepotism is “merely human nature”. He was quoted saying by Hindustan Times, “Isn’t everybody nepotistic? Hasn’t everybody coming up [in this industry] used their influence to help their loved ones or keep their loved ones in a better position? It is merely human nature.”
He further tagged nepotism as a “new word” which according to him, have apparently “fascinated everybody”. Zayed said, “Let’s not blow things out of proportion. We’re a free enterprise. It’s survival of the fittest. Nepotism is a new word that has fascinated everybody. Buckle up, dust yourself off, and move forward.”
Zayed Khan made his debut in Bollywood with the 2003 movie Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne opposite Esha Deol. He then starred in films like Main Hoon Na, Shabd, Dus, Yuvvraaj, Cash, Speed, and others. However, the actor failed to make a mark for himself in the industry and was last seen featuring in the 2015 Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene.
