Prices hiked for Vespa Scooters in India

Prices for Vespa scooters have been hiked in the Indian market by Piaggio India. The retro scooters from Vespa are offered in variety of colours and engines options.

The models that will now cost more are the SXL 150 Racing Sixties for ₹1,53,023, the SXL 150 for ₹1,47,355, the SXL 1225 Racing Sixties for ₹1,39,224 and the SXL 125 for ₹1,33,403 (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi).

The Racing Sixties Vespas dawns a red and Pearl White colour scheme, where you get iconic red racing stripes on the white monocoque body, sporting five spoke golden alloy wheels. The 150cc BSVI engine has a power output of 10.32 bhp and gets ABS, the 125cc BSVI engine has a power output of 9.78 bhp this one gets combi brakes instead of the ABS. Other features include DRL with LED headlamps, USB charger, disk brakes, digital console and semi-digital console.

The SXL Vespas are available in Matt Black, Matt Red Dragon, Orange, Matt Blue and White colour options and this one sports five spoke black alloy wheels. The engine specs and features are similar to the SXL Racing Sixties with the 150cc unit churning out 10.32bhp and 10.60nm of torque and the 125cc unit churning out 9.78 bhp and 9.60nm of torque. Features include DRL with LED headlamps, USB charger, disk brakes, digital console and semi-digital console.

Other models on offer by Vespa India are VXL 150cc for ₹1,42,000, the VXL 125cc for ₹1,29,000, the Vespa ZX 125cc for ₹1,15,000 and the Elegante 150cc for ₹1,55,000 (all prices are ex-showroom Delhi).
