Atumobile launches Atum Vader, India’s first High-Speed Electric Café Racer

Hyderabad-based EV manufacturer, Atumobile launches its second product and India’s first high-speed electric cafe racer, called Atum Vader. It has a top speed of 65 km/h, and can do a maximum range of 100 km on a single charge. This is also the second motorcycle in our country, after the Atum 1.0. to be ARAI-certified.

Hyderabad EV-2wheeler manufacturer Atumobile has launched its debut high-speed electric cafe racer, called Atum Vader. Recently, the motorcycle got approved by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), making it the second ARAI-approved electric bike in the country.
Just like the brand’s debut low-speed motorcycle, the Atum 1.0, Atum Vader is also available in a single trim with five colour options. However, the latter does command a premium of ₹25,000 with an ex-showroom price of ₹99,999 and this is applicable to the first 1000 customers only. The electric bike is available for pre-booking at a nominal price of ₹999.

The Atum Vader equips a 2.4 kWh battery that is good for 100 km of range. The motorcycle is built on a tubular chassis that also accommodates a 14-litres of boot space. Both the Atum Vader and Atum 1.0 get LED tail lamps but are differently designed. Similarly, the headlight units also differ from each other, with the 1.0 sporting stripped-out thin LED units, and the Atum Vader gets retro-style round units.
Both the low-speed Atum 1.0 and Atum Vader are manufactured in the company’s facility in Patancheru, Telangana. The facility recently increased its production from 25,000 units per annum to up to 3,00,000 units p.a. Known as the ‘Net Zero Manufacturing facility’ for it is entirely powered by a 20,000 sq.ft sized electricity-generating solar roof, the world’s first of its kind.
