Janhvi Kapoor recently spoke candidly about how Boney Kapoor and the late Sridevi didn't understand the notion of dating and wanted her to wed anybody she liked. The actor is presently "happily single" and is concentrating on her numerous professional projects.
The film Good Luck Jerry, which Janhvi recently starred in is now available on Disney Plus Hotstar. In addition to finishing her work on Bawaal with Varun Dhawan, she is currently collaborating with Rajkummar Rao on Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. Additionally, she is working on Mili, a production by Boney.
In an interview with Filmfare, Janhvi discussed how her parents' opinions on dating varied from hers, “Dating has always been a situation. I don't know why but it always has been mom and dad very, very dramatic about it. It's like 'when you like a guy, come to us and we'll get you married'. I was like what? You know we don't have to get married to every guy we like. We can be like chill also. She's like ‘chill’, ‘what does chill mean’. So they don't understand the concept of like chill.”
Janhvi recently acknowledged that she was "happily single, lonely at times" during her visit on The Ranveer Show. Janhvi had made a suggestion about a previous relationship, “Intimacy has become so accessible that it's very convenient to get it whenever they want it and that also makes people too scared to commit to it. They are too intimidated by intimacy and they also get access to it at their convenience which keeps them away from making a real connection with anyone.”
Janhvi made her Bollywood debut in the 2018 movie Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter. Khushi Kapoor, her sister, is currently preparing for her acting debut in The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar.
