Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the country's most popular celebrity couples. The duo has been setting huge couple goals since they began dating while filming their first film together, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela. The two then went on to tie the knot in 2018.
Celebrities' hectic schedules require them to travel frequently, causing them to miss out on quality time with their families. Even the busiest celebrities, however, had to stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the statewide lockdown. For many others, this was a blessing in disguise because it allowed them to finally spend time with their families and loved ones.
People attempted to take up a lot of hobbies and tried several skills during the lockdown, such as cooking, painting, and other activities. Deepika and Ranveer appear to have dabbled in those too, including cooking. Ranveer Singh recently revealed about his wife Deepika's cooking talents during a media encounter to promote a brand.
The Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor was overheard stating in response to a question posed by one of the media members present at the occasion, “I can’t cook, but I have many other talents to impress her. My wife is an amazing cook. During the pandemic I said I will make eggs for her. Since then, fans have been waiting.”
He further added, “With God’s grace, we bought a new house and there I will make breakfast for her and feed with my hands.”
Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat are some of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's films together. The couple was last seen in the sports biopic 83, where they played husband and wife. The Pathaan actress will next be seen in an extended cameo role in Ranveer Singh's upcoming film Cirkus, which is helmed by Rohit Shetty.
